The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released offline exam formĀ submission process for Class 10th and 12th Private ExaminationĀ for theĀ 2025 Annual/Bi-Annual exams. This notification is for the students who were re-appear, fail, improvement, and fresh private candidatesĀ fromĀ J&K and Ladakh (both Soft and Hard Zones).Ā The examinationĀ forms are to be submitted offline at your concernedĀ schools or JKBOSE offices . Fresh private candidates can download theĀ examination form from the JKBOSE website (Student Corner) section , whileĀ reappear/failure candidates will get pre-filled exam application forms from their previous schools where they are enrolled.
Important Dates & Fee Structure
The JKBOSE has announced the important dates and fee structure for the class 10th, 12thĀ private exams in 2025. The normal fee submission periodĀ for exam forms is from 30th May to 13th June 2025. in case you missed the exam form fee, a late fee of ā¹810 will apply from 14th to 23rd June, and a higher late fee of ā¹2085 will be charged from 24th June to 3rd July. So submit exam form in timeĀ The examinationĀ fee for Class 10th private candidates is ā¹1240 (ā¹1460 with extra subjects), while Class 12th candidates haveĀ to pay ā¹1435 (ā¹1690 with extra subjects). Late fees will increase the total cost of exam fee, so submit your form on time to avoid extra charges. Disabled candidates (with 40% or more disability) are exempt from examination fees. If the last date of Exam form submissionĀ falls on a holiday, the next working day will be considered as the last date .
Eligibility Criteria
If you want to appear as a private candidate in the 10th and 12th Class, check these eligibility rules: Fresh private candidatesĀ must meet the standard requirements.Ā Reappear or failure candidates can apply if they didnāt pass the examination in previous attempts. if Class 12th students wants to improve their scores can also reappear. If any student want to take additional or optional subjects, theyĀ can do so by paying extra fees. Remember, reappear candidates must complete all compulsory subjects within five years of admission .
